Clinical Research Endowment Fund

Since 1996 Grants have been awarded annually for Clinical Outcomes Research. In 2004 the terms of the Grant were modified to included Clinical Studies. Members of the Society and Residents and Fellows with a member sponsor are eligible to apply for the Grants.

The purpose of the Fund is:

to provide seed funding to stimulate clinically applied research in all areas of plastic surgery.
to support our membership in performing clinical outcomes research that will have important implications for health care policy affecting our specialty.
to specifically encourage the involvement of the community based plastic surgeon in such research.
to address outcomes of our patients so that we can further improve the quality of care and standardize our clinical practice guidelines.

In 1996, the first year of the Fund, two $10 000 grants were awarded for Clinical Outcomes Research. Awards have been made yearly since then.

Members of the Society, and Residents and Fellows with a member sponsor are eligible to apply for the Grants.

Please contribute generously. The plastic surgery community is made up of caring and concerned individuals. As an expression of that concern the CSPS Endowment Fund will assist in ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate and best care available.

Your generous support contributes significantly to maintaining the high standard of care for which plastic surgeons are recognized.
